just delete the [u ]skins[/u] folder under steam directory.
more than likely looks like this....C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\skins

It's very easy, Go to your steam folder c:\Valve\steam is the normal one. If there is a folder called "Skins" in this folder you just extract the Skin in to this folder.

part 2
rightclick on your steam icon in tray (down in right corner) - settings - Interface, and chose the skin.

i did everything they told me ..and im not a dum a$$ ...but i realized that once i go in to my c: ..theres no valve folder..but ther is a steam, should i just go rite to the steam folder

to use this skin all u have to do is when u extract the files just stick them in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\skins the way i found this out wiz i went to my computer n then went to local disk c then programme files then into the folder called valve then go to steam whilst in valve then skins and in the skins folder u will see the skin called grey n thts the one steams default skin so when i found this out all i did was look at the directory i was in which was C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\skins n then extracted the skin files to there want eny more proof

yeah this is pretty good except the friends and settings etc icons are stretched.

I just extract the file in steam/skins, but in steam they doesn't appear in settings - interface!!
