Mapping with Firefox

Posted by Sebastian · 04/12/07 @12:06 pm · mapping · 3 comments
Who would of thought you'd be able to create a map using nothing more than your browser? Well if you run firefox you can create some maps with a few clicks using your browser at Worldcraft Online. The project started about a year ago and not until recently we've been notified that it has been translated. The online interface will allow you to create CS 1.6 style maps.

Obviously you can only create basic things with this browser-editor, but it's pretty cool when you can map with just some simple point, click and drag commands with your firefox browser. Check it out, here.

Interesting concept, but it's quite limiting.

The Idea is great, but only result will be another quadrillion of simple fy_ maps, one like the second and third and fiftyseventh..

I just dont think that this is a good way to start mapping, because this application wont teach you anything about worldcraft itself..just how to make another and another bullshit easily... But sure respect for the coder.. ;]
