Lost Coast has arrived!

Half-Life 2: Lost Coast is now available for play for all Half-Life 2 owners.

Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, a single-player level custom-created to show-off the new High-Dynamic Range lighting (HDR) in the Source engine, is available now to all owners of HL2.

The requirements for HDR are high, and you will be prompted via Steam if your system does not meet those requirements. Fear not, you will still be able to play Lost Cost, but will not experience the level as it is meant to be.

We would love to have your comments and criticisms on Lost Cost, so feel free to share them with us via the comments link.

On another note, vALVE has announced that they will soon be releasing two new maps, de_nuke and cs_militia, bringing the total number of released maps to 18. They are also releasing new player models very shortly and will be providing sneak previews to HL2 owners via Steam.

November looks to be a fun packed month.

codex (unregistered)	its cool well the graphics are bad ass and the new wepons cool new abilitees a 4 berrald grenade launcher cool -./ and the new snarks with roboticle legs there are four in the whole game the whole game has one level and it takes the whole time of your hl2 expirence to beat just 1 level
