Tired of being a terrorist or a counter-terrorist?

Why not be the famed Gordon Freeman for a day?

This is a single-player campaign for Half-Life 2. Follow the instruction in the README.TXT to install this map.

The map takes place a few days after you have blown up the Citadel in City 17. Gordon Freeman regains consciousness after a brutal beating by the combine capturers. You're locked up in a jail, and your murder trial for killing Dr. Breen and his associates is scheduled for the next morning.

The G-Man is presiding as the judge over the trial, and your instinct tells you that you really have no chance at getting a fair trial.

You must escape the courthouse before night falls. You've got nothing but your wit to successfully survive the squads of combines guarding the courthouse.

Good luck...you'll need it.

cs_justice and de_justice

If you haven't noticed already, this map takes place at the same location as my CS:S maps: cs_justice and de_justice.

There is also a HL2DM version.

Well, I started this map in December of 2004, and the final version was released in August of 2005.

I spent a lot of time perfecting the gameplay and had tons of people playtesting it at the SnarkPit.

The ceiling of the basement in screenshot#2 was intentionally made lower than usual. I want the claustrophobic effect in that section of the map.

If you play the map, you'll realize that the ceiling in every other parts of the map is high.

Here is a comment from a fellow mapper who enjoyed this map:

-----

I love this map. I sat down and played v3 six months after first playing v2 six times over again, trying to find the best route to take for minimal player damage. I actually managed to play through it without quicksave on the hard setting. It's a different sort of gameplay that takes a bit of getting used to. But I loved it, and it has great replay value. It reminds me of FarCry, how there's a completely open area that you can move through at your will. I never found need to look at the walkthrough. The most satisfying gaming experience I've had in a while, no exagerration. Ace.
