BUY THE GODDAM GAME!
its only like, $10, not alot - and u also get condition zero.
just buy it and steam does all the updates auto for u.

omg guys there are some reasons why u get this. I happens when u wanna join a game from a different version of that game, u dont have the latest updates, you dont have steam, you are using some shity cracks, you modified some files and so on... this PROTOCOL is not a file, check the dictionary, its some king of agree between 2 or more connections to make that connection and because ur game or whatever use a different protocol u cant connect.

My cracked game is working fine... I can play with bots, but its the online play where i wanna join a server that isn't working
Does anyone know wat to do? i just need the protocol 7 update. nothing else
I've tried emporio, but i find it very confusing and don't know which versions to install, so plz add instructions. thx.

buy the game that will do it, using cracks might be difficult, time consuming and after any steam update u have to repeat that all

I will say this once, if its your server and you get this messeage update the server and then restart it.
If you dont have the real game then buy it lol, its only like 20 dollars!

Its not about if you have the real game or not, its the server. If the server is a old version then you get this message. try another server!
