Ok, I'm having a problem in Counter Strike and I'd really appreciate some help.

I go into counter strike --> play CS --> customize and turn the "voice transmit volume" and lower it by a lot, and go play a game of CS only to find this has been turned back to maximum, and I have to set it again only to find it happens again. Out of the blue it will reset again. Anyone have any ideas?

Could the volume be set in my config.cfg file? it so what is the command for it.
