Missing '[' in Texturedef <U>
Hey everyone, Im finished with my jailbreak map, but as i am trying to compile it with ZHLT this error occurs. I want to know how to fix this without ruining the design of my map, by deleting textures. How can I solve this problem without deleting each texture to see which causes the problem? Here is the log..

The most common cause for this error is the texture's name. Make sure that none of your textures have spaces in the name or invalid characters. Go through your wad and check the texture names or post the wad (or wads) here and I could take a look at them.

Also, open the map in VHE and go to Map->Check for problems (or press Alt+P) and fix any errors it reports. If you find an error that says "Invalid texture" (or something similar), that's probably the cause for the compile error you're getting.

Nope, when I check for problems I get nothing. Also, can you give me a list of VALID only texture tags? Like.. +, {, etc. Or, you can take a look if you'd like

Here is the link to my jailbreak map, jb_sandy_beach

Edit: Link Removed

The *.rmf file doesn't really help since I need to check out the wads that you used. I'll take a look at the *.rmf anyway but please post the wads.

I also removed the link so that you don't find your map published by someone else

EDIT: Stop working with grid size 1 unless you need to build details. Other than that, you should never work with grid size 1 or 2 or even 4). Some armoury_entities are placed in the ground (and are sticking out on the other side) which will cause a leak. You placed a lot of light entities in the same place (the compiler will do a lot of unnecessary light calculations) and you have a big leak (I'm guessing the map is not finished).

Yeah its not finished yet, and the thing about the grid sizes, i totally agree but i get so occupied with the map, that when i need to set the grid size to a lower interval, i forget to put it back :/. And hey thanks for removing the link . How do i get the list of WADS im using in this map?

You really shouldn't use more than 8 wads. This could cause weird problems (even the one you posted above). Use »Wally (1.07 MB) to merge the wads together.
