Background:


Founded as a UWC3 clan originally on 03Feb2007, SNK has evolved to a server now running a regular 1.6 CS server with the intent of recruiting regulars into the server. We will be going CAL in the near future, thus the reason for switching from UWC3.

The current SNK server hosts a variety of Realistic Mods to help bring CS to life, and also a few fun ones like RTD, Piss Mod and Dookie Mod. Through several tests, certain plugins were replaced/removed/updated to ensure a lag free environment for players via server side.

The server also runs CAL CFG for this reason as well, minus a few variables that don't apply to a pub.

In the near future, we will be adding at least one more server, bringing back the UWC3 mod and possibly gungame. Occasionally, we may run gungame or the hidenseek mod on the server for fun.

When the server is empty, some of my mates like to go to surf maps. The server variables are also set up for that as well.

We pride on adult gamers. Little kids are frowned upon, so if you are 15 or below don't bother. CS was never meant for annoying little kids to say LAWL every second and spam the mic with a high pitched voice. If you manage to get in the server and play underage, I suggest not using a mic....you will be banned.

Most important factors looked at when we recruit is simply if you are obviously not a horrible player, but more that you can bullshit and have a good laugh. When it's CAL time....that's when it's time to be serious. If you've no sense of humor, don't bother asking to join. Having a MIC is extremely preferred.

This server is legit. Great ppl, great mods, makes it seem pretty realistic if i do say so myself. Being able to pull the pin on a nade before thrown is pretty sick. The admins are cool. -={SNK}=- STRYKER is sooooo funny, always makes me laugh. Shoutin random shit sometimes tho. He might lie a little bit too...

i started playing at snk about 2 weeks ago... im 26 years old... i have to say i've been playing CS for over 4 years... best server!!!!!! server is for any players, beginner and pro... I LOVE THIS SERVER!!!!!

Hello, i check out the server when i was browning around, and got to say, good server... I had fun, cool admins and the asses got taken care off. Cool plugins, good reg/ping. I give it 6 tumbs up. I actually recommend checking them out...

Great server when there is people in. the skill level of the players that go are high so it keeps it interesting. we love having skilled people coming in and kick our ass we just ask that ur not an asshole, we dont take kindly to aholes haha
