Still a noob

For some reason when i use hammer i can make a map and all but the camera function doesnt seem to work and ive tried switching the types from 3d flat to 3d textured but still cant seem to get it. Need help.

What i mean is that the camera screen is just blank and i cant fix it. NEED HELP SOON!!!!!!
