When i Start New SERVER in Counter Strike 1.6 on LAN, Players are changing my name. how i stop them? i think they are using "cmd name"

Please can any buddy tell me how i stop them from changing name.

You can make your config.cfg file read only. You do that by right clicking on CONFIG.CFG file and go down to properties when the window pop's up check read only. Remember that if you need to make a change in cs you need to check the config file then make your changes. After you are done making changes make the file back to read only.

This will stop players from changing your name or other settings.

when people change your name its most likely and admin doing it, like they change your name from idk, "pwner" to "im on crack" or somn like that, theyre just playing around.

im admin on a server, and im wondering, how DO you change someones name! ;D

how can i change my friend nick name ? plz tell me

on LAN game if your friend is the server you can change his nickname simply by pressing in the command console cmd name and the nick you want!
