[CS:S] game freezes, warning: connection problem
hello everyone,

I have just started playing CS:S again in the recent months after over 1 year off (didn't have internet for awhile), but have been experiencing some frustrating connection issues.

When my CS:S is working, it works great; I don't get lagged except on very rare occasions. But everytime I play now my game will freeze up after a certain amount of time (sometimes 5 min. sometimes an hour), during which I can still look around but nothing moves. I get a Warning: Connection Problem message at the top of the screen and after a few minutes I lose my connection to the server. When I try to reconnect, the same thing happens immediately upon joining the server until I either restart my computer or give it at least 15 min.

I think the problem is due to this crappy wireless usb stick I am connecting to the internet with. I am planning to either get a wireless card or just a long cable to run directly to my modem, but would appreciate any advice anyone can give me; I'd rather not spend the money if the problem is related to something else.

Thanks in advance for your help!
