[CS:S] How to change the IP of a server ?
Hey guys, I have a little problem here. I have a lan routered with a Dlink 704P, and the ports are already forwarded. But people can´t enter in my server, because when I open it, it runs with my LAN IP (192.168.0.128), so the server doesn´t show on the list. It´s already set to INTERNET. So I sent my internet IP (2xx.xxx.xxx) to my friend and he was able to enter my server. So i wanna start the server with that ip, no my lan one ! How can i do that ? And other strange thing is that when i type ip config in the dos prompt, it only shows my lan ip, my gateway and my common gateway ! So i haev to search the web for my lan IP !

if your friend is already connecting to it with your IP, than whats the problem, I don't understand. If you're up with valve then it should show on the servers list. If you're behind a router, the computer will ALWAYS show the local IP, and not your static IP.
