Hello all,

I have setup a cs1.6 server for me and my roommate. While playing on it our pings are 25ms when we hold down tab. But when we look at our latency in net_graph it says its 1ms. Is there anyway to get it lower? I remember back in the day, before 1.6 and all, playing on a lan pings would be 5ms. I would love to see that agian.

Current Setup:
Dual Penium III - 1.4Ghz
2GB - DDR PC2100
Debian 4 r3 - OS
100Mbit Dual nics

Network -_______________WAN / Cs.16 Server
Cable Modem - 100Mbit Switch -|
_______________________WAN \ Router - LAN | Gigabit Switch - Users

Like i said, if i ping the serer out of cs, (command prompt) i get <1ms. But when in game its 25. Any help on solving this is much appricated.
