Q: How to install Maps (#43)
A: Installing maps is pretty simple once you figure out where all the files go. A map can contain many files with many different file extensions, in most cases maps you download from our site can be extracted into the main mod directory.
For example, if you downloaded a map for Counter-Strike: Source you extract the map to: \Steam\SteamApps\<your account>\counter-strike source .. and files will be moved into the correct directories, however, this only works if the file archive was structured correctly. do not always rely on this method as you may end up with all the map files in the same directory. Sometimes it's better to extract the zip to your desktop and manually move or copy the files into the correct directories. below you will find where each extension goes. +------------------------+ +----------------+ | Game / Directory | | File extension | +------------------------+ +----------------+ Sometimes you might get an error message saying the file exists, Select "Yes to all" there will be no harm done. by Sebastian
